HVAC Industry – A Booming Market

The HVAC market in India is poised for rapid growth due to a number of changes that are taking place in the Indian economy and society, as well as easier availability of A/C products, which constitutes the bulk of the HVAC segment, in the market.

This potential demand from the construction sector (both conventional and green buildings), coupled with the potential to save energy from air-conditioning (especially through efficient technologies) will usher a boom period for the HVAC market by 2035, with complete support from the Government to promote energy-efficient standards, practices, and technologies.

RACON – Kolkata

Kolkata the capital of West Bengal and is the principal commercial, cultural, and educational center of East India. As a growing metropolitan city in a developing country, Kolkata is a gateway to many industrial units in Eastern India & North East states operated by large public-sector corporations.

RACON, a two day national event, organized by ISHRAE Kolkata chapter, on air-conditioning, refrigeration, ventilation and related industries. RACON is the biggest HVAC event in eastern part of India which enrich building owners, architects, designers, young engineers, students the latest trends in the HVAC industry. Eminent speakers from the industry (from all over India and abroad) present their paper on most energy efficient technology of HVAC system, It also helps manufacturers to update their latest and technologically advanced product in the industries.

About Organizers

ISHRAE-Kolkata chapter started in 1989. Kolkata chapter has around 350 members. Members include Consultants, design & execution people from Contracting company manufacturers, planning & project people from Builders, end users from Healthcare Sector/ Hospitality Industry / Steel & Power sector, etc. Kolkata chapter every year organize RACON, a seminar on various topics on HVAC industry. RACON has participation from major end users & industry representatives.
